Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy applies to the VPNWant marketing website, user panel, and subscription services. It explains what information is handled to provide the service and how users can access, correct, or delete their information.

Account Data and How It Is Used

VPNWant does not require an email address; a username and password are enough to create an account. Account identifiers are used for sign-in, linking subscriptions, and handling service requests. Passwords are authentication data and should not be included in support tickets or shared with others. An email address is not required to create an account, and providing one later is not a default condition for using the service.

When a plan is activated, the service processes the selected plan, order status, payment result, and data usage to provide the subscription, reconcile billing, and handle refunds. Descriptions and replies in support tickets are used to troubleshoot issues. Please submit only necessary information, and redact passwords, subscription credentials, and unrelated payment account details from screenshots.

No-Logs Policy and Connection Records

VPNWant follows a no-logs policy. It does not record which websites users visit through its international routes, which pages they view, or what content they transmit, and it does not create browsing histories that can be used to reconstruct an individual's activity.

Connection logs used to reconstruct individual browsing activity are not retained persistently, including records that link an account to a destination website and access time. Authentication status, plan validity, and accumulated data usage are information needed to provide and bill for the service; they are not browsing logs. Data usage statistics should not include browsing content.

When troubleshooting connection issues, support may ask users for necessary details such as error messages, platform, and selected route. Diagnostic information users submit voluntarily is used only to address the related issue. Users should not be asked to provide their complete browsing history.

Access Analytics and Local Storage

Analytics for the marketing website help us understand page views, on-site navigation, and button usage, and identify broken links and layout issues. Analytics do not extend to other websites users visit through the subscription service. Passwords, authentication credentials, and actual subscription addresses should not be included in analytics events.

Cookies and browser local storage are used to maintain necessary sessions, preserve sign-in status, and save interface preferences. Users can view or clear this data in their browser settings; clearing it may require signing in again or choosing preferences again. Clearing browser storage does not delete server-side account or order records.

Third-Party Payments and Information Sharing

Supported payment methods are Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payments are handled by the relevant third-party payment service or transaction network. VPNWant receives the payment status and transaction identifier needed to verify an order. The handling of payment account information is also subject to the rules of the respective provider.

VPNWant does not sell personal information as a business practice. If information must be shared with service partners, it should be limited to what is necessary to deliver or maintain the service or resolve a dispute. Requests to provide information required by law are handled according to applicable requirements. This policy does not describe independent actions by third parties as VPNWant privacy guarantees.

Data Retention and Deletion Requests

Account information is retained while the account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. Order and payment verification records are retained for the periods required for accounting, refunds, dispute handling, and applicable legal obligations. Support tickets and diagnostic information are deleted or de-linked from identifiable information after the issue and any necessary review are complete; they are not kept indefinitely.

Users can sign in to the panel and submit a request to access, correct, or delete account information through a support ticket. Account ownership must be verified before processing. Deletion may affect sign-in, subscription access, and after-sales support. If some records must be retained by law or for an unresolved dispute, the reason and scope of retention will be explained; those records will be deleted when the need ends.

Policy Updates and Questions

Updates to this policy will be published on this page, and the month shown at the top will be updated. Important changes to the purposes or scope of data handling will be communicated through the website or user panel. Where separate user confirmation is required, it will be obtained as applicable; updating the policy text does not replace necessary authorization.

To ask how specific information is handled, please describe your question in a panel support ticket. For rules related to service use and refunds, see the Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
